    Hi all,

I was experiencing signs that my Samsung S7's battery needed replacing (I've had the phone 2 years). It started randomly switching off even though it said 45% or 32% battery. When I charged it, it charged from 0% so it was clear that the displayed battery life wasn't true.

I paid for a new battery to be installed at my local shop and for 2 days it was better, but again now it's doing exactly the same and cutting out despite showing there is battery life.

Could there be an app or virus doing this? I do have anti-virus software on the phone which hasn't detected anything...or is it just the phone itself?

I'm surprised there is still a problem with a new battery...

    Any help appreciated!
