My Android (MetroPCS) Keeps dropping Home Wi-fi

[Android Central Question]

I have an Alcatel Fierce and MetroPCS is my service, but it won't keep my home wi-fi. It will take any other wi-fi , but the best it will do here is keep it for a minute before dropping. I tried restarting, factory restart, clearing cache, forgetting connections, safe reboot, and restarting the router, but I'm still getting 'authentication problem'. I tried looking for similar issues, but none of them applied to MetroPCS. I had an idea that it had something to do with Metro security, but I don't know how to manage it to accept my router. Could someone please help? Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! MetroPCS shouldn't have anything to do with your home wi-fi, unless you somehow have MetroPCS providing your home internet (which they don't provide, to the best of my knowledge).

See this guide for some tips: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...roubleshooting-wi-fi-connection-problems.html. Does the problem also happen with other wi-fi networks or just your home network?
