S8 - White Triangle with red battery crossed out

[Android Central Question]

My S8 won't charge and am now getting a circle with white triangle and red crossed out battery.
I've tried holding down power and volume buttons, but no dice.
Any ideas??

Welcome to Android Central! I'd guess that the battery has failed. If it's still under warranty, contact Samsung. Otherwise, bring it to a repair shop.

Try to use a wireless charger. my GF just put mine in the washer. the charging port gave me the same thing but if you wirelessly charge it it seems to charge. will update with news after it charges but as of now i have it taking a charge on my wireless charger
