Android Central Question

After installing two printer apps from Google, which didn't work, I began getting a pop-up window called response.bin with two options download or cancel. The window keeps popping up regardless of what I do. Any idea what this is? I checked my phone with Malewarebytes which did'n' find any problems.

Maybe uninstall the printer apps to start with..
Anything that ends with ".bin" means it will be in binary format and often will contain executable commands, not necessarily malicious....

Welcome to Android Central! What printer apps did you try to install, and from where? What do you mean that you installed them from Google? Are you talking about the Play Store, or did you find these by doing a Google search?

What printer do you have? You might need to visit the website of the printer manufacturer to find the exact app from Play Store that you need. For example, I found the HP app I needed by checking HP's website, since I have an HP printer.

Ya, they usually have a direct link to the Play store.

Welcome to Android Central! Instead of just copying and pasting my previous response, can you please type out your question? What you posted doesn't mean anything.
