How to delete clipboard items

How should the items copied in clipboard get deleted

Typically only the last item copied is in the clipboard. If your device has a "deeper" clipboard, this is through some add-on or app that you would then also use for managing the items.

On Samsung devices, you open the dialing pad, and long press on the blank space above the numbers. This should show the clipboard, from there you can delete them...
While this will work, any field on Google can be long pressed to bring up the clipboard. Since my last phone cleansing, it has 18 items saved, with an option to delete one or more.
