Why cant i call one of my contacts that i call daily 2x a day sometimes suddenly?

When I make a call to a certain phone number it tells me the that contact is disconnected when it's really not. It doesnt happen every time. And if called this same contact twice a day for many years.

Welcome to Android Central! Ask that person if other people have been having the same problem. If so, tell him or her to contact the carrier and ask if there's a problem.
