Android Central Question

I have a Tab E running android 7.1.1 and I'm attempting to remove MobiControl v13.3.3 build 1013. When booting the device normally there is only a very limited number of apps that I can run. Booting in safe mode allows access to normal system settings. Simply selecting the app and clicking uninstall is unsuccessful. ("Deactivate and uninstall" is grayed out and clicking it does nothing. Also the "force stop" option is grayed out.) It is currently set as a device admin. When I try to deactivate it as admin the "deactivate" option is grayed out and clicking it does noting. I am also unable to do a factory data reset. (Again, the option is grayed out.)

I have tried using "find my device" to perform a factory reset. It said it did it however no change on the tablet. I have also attempted to root the tablet. That was also unsuccessful.

At this point I am open to any suggestions. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to Android Central! Where did you get this tablet from? The fact that it has MobiControl installed suggests it's a company device, and is therefore administered by that company's IT department. It's probably going to be difficult to remove MobiControl unless you talk to that IT department about it.
