Android Central Question

I have a used Revvlplus cell phone that has no service, but able to access via wifi. However; when I try to take pics, a message appears on the screen and it says, "The storage device is not mounted. Please try to unplug/plug the SD card or restart the mobile phone". What does this mean?

Because an SD card is inserted, does not necessarily mean that it mounts, or connects to the device, successfully. Your device is asking you to try reinsertion, and rebooting, as possible fixes. Make sure also the the card contacts are clean. If no go, the card reader, or card itself, may be bad.
Try the card in another device, and another card in your device.

Welcome to Android Central! Open the Camera app and go to its settings. What's the default storage location set to -- Internal Storage or SD?
