My screen was broken by a drop. I removed the broken screen and tested a new ordered one. It work perfect. As soon as I used the glue strips to fix it to the case, the screen stops working. What could be the problem?

It could be that you inadvertently did damage during the procedure, but not having seen you at work, it’s no more than a guess: your technique may have been impeccable.

Well, i don’t think so. I heated the touch and got it off smooth. I cleaned the frame and tryed the new touch before installation. Everything worked perfect. The new touch came with the adhesive strips attached. I tore off the foile and put the screen in place. I connected the screen and then connected the battery again. I restarted the tab and the touch stopped working. I heard that it might be a problem with the copper connectors of the back and tab button. But I can’t find a solution anywhere. I’m always careful that I don’t harm the ribbon cables. They are fine.
