[Android Central Question]

I have been waiting for 1 1/2 years for you to respond to a question about Android 6.0 Mashmallow. The Pendo Pad keeps changing the WiFi MAC address. I have worked with this constant changing of this WiFi Mac and I am now frustrated that you seem to have done Nothing !.
Please contact me as soon as you can This year so we can sort this out ?

Be aware that this is an independent community forum, without any direct affiliation with the Pendo Pad manufacturer, Google or any other company. I'm pretty amazed that you had the diligence to come back 1.5 yrs later to follow up!

The wi-fi MAC address shouldn't change unless you do it yourself. (Here's an article about how a user can change a device's MAC address: https://www.droidviews.com/change-ma...droid-devices/.) The fact that it's changing by itself makes me think that it could be a firmware bug, or perhaps someone rooted the device and installed an app that periodically changes the MAC address. Does this persist in Safe Mode? On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.
