I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I have never found a satisfactory answer. I am wondering if there's a way to disable the Multi-Window "feature" in Android. It is very annoying as I'm often accidentally enabling it, when in fact I never use or want it. I am using Android 7.1.1. Thank you!

Have you turned off multi window?

I have a regular Moto G4 (XT1622) on 7.0.
I don't think there's a setting to disable it. If I'm reaching to change which apps are displaying while driving I can hold the recent apps button too long, but otherwise I don't have a problem with accidental activation of multi window / dual window by long pressing the bottom right button.

Maybe there is an issue with your screen sensitivity, but you should normally be able to avoid the issue, and another long press will revert it.

Thanks for your reply MadNine. I've reduced the screen sensitivity, maybe that will help prevent me from getting the multi window accidentally.
You can also change the touch & hold delay to 'long' in the accessibility settings. This could help to avoid any accidental long press.

I didn't know I could adjust the screen sensitivity!
What else can this thing do?

I thought you may have an issue with the screen in that area from a magnetic clasp or something.

Hey, who's teaching who?! :)
