Why is my charger not going in all the way

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung S9. I have had my charger for two months without any problems, then all of the sudden when I went to charge it this morning the charger would not go all the way in. When I push it in as far as I can(which doesn't go all the way) it only slow charges. I tried another charger and got the same result. How do I get my phone to fast charge again?

Is there dirt in the USB port, or damage to the connector in it?

Have you looked inside the port? Sounds like there may be some pocket lint in there. I would use a plastic implement to remove it, I would steer away from metal...
