Galaxy Note9 won't vibrate for texts despite settings being correct.

I worked with a Samsung Support person to make sure all the settings for my Note9 were correct, but for some reason, it continues to not vibrate when I receive texts through the messaging app. I even went as far as resetting all settings on my phone. I had this happen before with my Galaxy S7 and a tech went deep into the settings and found something that fixed the problem so I know it can be done, but the tech I worked with just told me to take it into T-Mobile and have them look at it. Before I do that, I'm hoping someone here might have some ideas?
