    I asked Google assistant to send a text anyone in my contact list and it does EXCEPT my husband. It sends it to other android and iOS devices. I got a pixel 3 and my husband got a pixel XL. So I checked to see if my husband's number is formated the same way as the others Google assistant will send text too and they are. All numbers are listed at 123-456-7898 so I don't see why it Google assistant doesn't work for him and him alone.
