Is there a way to remove the call button at the top right of Messages?

In a conversation, theres a call button at the top right that calls the person IMMEDIATELY after touching it. The button is really annoying because it doesn't even give you any confirmation that you wanted to call. You have no idea how many times I've accidentally called someone from touching this button ONCE.

Use a different messaging app. Removing the button would require rewriting the app unless there's a setting to remove it. We can't tell you if there is such a setting, we don't know what app you're using.
