Android Central Question

My brand new phone, the Leagoo S9, has crashed twice over the last two days. Does anybody know why? I was searching for GIFs on the Google app and then my phone screen turned black and shut down. When I rebooted it, some prompt came up saying that it failed to open some packages. It said that my data could be corrupted. It said I could try again or reset my phone entirely. I tried to reboot it but then there was an icon of the Android icon with a red warning sign over it with the caption “Error!”. When I rebooted it again it worked again...can anybody help?

Welcome to Android Central! Assuming that the Google search didn't lead you to a website that had popups luring you into installing some malicious app, I'd guess that the firmware is corrupt or the motherboard is faulty. Since the phone is new, I'd look into getting it exchanged or refunded before it gets too late.
