I belong to Freebooksy.com and BookBub.com. The emails they send me have free Kindle books I can download. When I choose a book it sends me to the Amazon Kindle book page to "buy it with 1-click". Standard procedure.
Anyway, when I go to my Kindle library on my Fire, I notice that some of the thumbnails of the books I have downloaded are un-highlighted with a white X in the lower right corner (delete?) and others are highlighted, like normal, with a white checkmark in the lower right corner. The highlighted ones, when I touch them, go straight to the book, but when I touch the un-highlighted ones nothing happens.
Why?
