[Android Central Question]

I have a s9 with Pie installed. In the last few days, when I receive messages from people (on the standard messaging app) an annoying icon flies into the screen notifying me.

It just hovers on top of any app I'm using. The only way to delete it is to hold down on the message alert (the persons initial) and a rubbish bin appears for me to move it into. I just want the standard way of getting the alert like a banner at the top of the screen that disappears after a few seconds.
