Skype question

[Android Central Question]

Ive had a person with a strange name appear on my contact list AND my CHAT list. Im confused as to how they did that. I never accepted them. Would someone else had to have accessed my ph to accept them? Please help

Welcome to Android Central! If you sync your contacts from social media or messaging apps (like Twitter, WhatsApp, etc.), it's possible you inadvertently added them as a contact in one app, which then synced to your main contacts, which then synced to Skype.
