Why do i get liked texts from iphone

[Android Central Question]

Whenever I text an iPhone and the person on the other end likes what I have to say, they send me back the entire message with the word, "liked" before it. Why?? How about just a thumbs up or heart emoji? Why must it be the whole message. This is especially annoying in group chats.

Welcome to Android Central! It's just how iMessage's "like" feature appears on non-iMessage apps. It's Apple being Apple, and non-Apple not being Apple.:-\
