    I man currently using a iPhone... I am making the switch to Android... when I video call with my girlfriend she can use other apps and the camera stays on.... I can’t do that with my iPhone... I don’t know if you can do that with any android phone or a specific model?

    Welcome to Android Central! If you use Google Duo to make the call, you can minimize it using the Picture-in-Picture feature while doing other things: https://9to5google.com/2017/10/05/go...ure-available/. I'm not sure if it's possible with a carrier's native video calling, though.
