Factory reset, back to Android 8 cant update to android 9

[Android Central Question]

I've recently had to send my phone back for a screen repair so had to factory reset my.phone a Nokia 7 plus. Before i reset it it was updated to android 9. And now when i check for updates its on 8.1.0 and no new updates? Is there any way to force the 9 update? Carrier is EE in the UK.

It sounds like the repair center also swapped the the motherboard, a factory reset usually does not revert the OS to a previous version. It will probably take a few days for the device to "register" the OS change to Nokia and get tagged for the new version again.
