Time and day not showing on calendar after Samsung update

[Android Central Question]

I am using a Samsung S8 and had an update last week, since then the samsung calendar does not show the time and day/date on the grid. So it is a blank grid. So darn useless. Any clues I have tried settings to add these but no options there? A calendar is pointless if you cannot see the time and day/date on the grid.
