If I unblock a number so the text they attempted to send come through if I unblock it later?

For example if I block phone number then they text me while I have them blocked but a few days later I decide to unblock them, would the text that they sent while I had them blocked come through after I unblock?

Blocked or rejected texts do not work that way. The text message always arrives at your phone.
Normally the message gets saved in a SQL database and you are notified that it arrived.
When a text is blocked, the message is just silently discarded by your phone instead of being saved in the database.
