My Samsung S5 is deleting all my new pictures but keeping all the old ones, why?
After I take a picture with my S5 it seems to be available for maybe 30 seconds where I can access it through the gallery app and if I am lucky I can text it to myself. But if I am unlucky it turns first to a solid grey screen and then disappears from from gallery all together. This does not happen to photos downloaded from messenger or other aps. Also all old pictures stay available, so old stuff is not disappearing. Ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Is the Camera app saving photos to Internal Storage or the SD card by default? If it's the SD card, then change it back to Internal Storage and see if it still happens.

It could also be lack of free storage. It gets saved, but that brings the free storage down below the minimum needed, so Android deletes the picture, which can take a little while (like 30 seconds).
