LG G4 - Forgot my backup PIN

Hello,

I've got an LG G4-H815. One of my kids was playing with the phone and entered the wrong pattern five times and the phone locked. It's now asking for a backup PIN which I can't seem to remember.

I've tried using Dr. Fone with no luck. I've also used Android Device Manager which I'm able to successfully locate my phone. However, I'm unable to unlock the same.

Welcome to Android Central! That's unfortunate. You need to remember your backup PIN, for exactly this reason. I'm afraid there's not much you can do besides do a hardware key factory reset (which will still require you to enter the Google account/password associated with the phone -- hopefully you remember that). Google's Find My Device (which used to be called Android Device Manager) has never been able to remotely unlock or change a PIN -- it can only remotely create a PIN if the phone didn't have a screen lock set in the first place.
