Whenever I take pictures with my Samsung A5, they turn grey. I haven't had this problem ever. I've tried to find answers but after long searches, I couldn't find anything! Pictures taken with my phone are grey with a strip of colour on the side. Videos are fine though.
Also, it's not my external SD card. I've tried saving to 3 different SD cards, and the internal storage. Resetting solves the problem for a bit, but then it comes back. Tried clearing cache and davlik cache, but no luck.

Try copying a file or two to your computer and see if any of the image viewer programs give you a helpful error message.
The screen shot suggests that the image file is getting corrupted.
Does the same problem happen when you use a different camera app, say Instagram or Snapchat or other third-party camera app?

I did, but no errors popped up. It just showed the corrupted (I think) picture.
I also tried taking a picture with another camera app (Open Camera), changing the resolution, save location, save format, but no luck.
I have the same issue. I looked at the "details" of the photos and they're being saved on my SD card now for some reason. Not sure how to change that either
I fixed the issue. I changed where my photos are saved and the issue it's resolved.
Thanks for the idea! Let me try and see if that solves the problem.

Thanks for the idea, but it isn't getting saved on the SD card. It's getting saved to the DCIM folder on my internal SD card. Thanks though!

Hey! So I flashed a new ROM, (Pixel Experience which I love btw), and I used Migrate to get my apps and data to my new ROM, and the problem is gone! I hope it doesn't come back, but anyways thanks everyone for your help!
