The screen rotation button that pops up in Android Pie when you change the orientation of your phone in just the wrong place. Often when using the phone lying down in bed it comes on just as im shifting the phone because ive just typed something and then i need to press a button in bottom right corner thats right underneath the rotation button that pops up and i have to wait. The rotation button that pops up is in theee single worst location on screen. Can i move it? Can i disable it and just leave the screen locked in potrait? What a huge design blunder.

You should be able to go to quick settings menu, swipe down twice from the top of the screen, and in those selections there is one called Auto Rotate. Tapping that keeps the phone in portrait mode.

That is by design by Google on all android devices running pie cant be disabled unless you use auto rotate.
