Android Central Question

I understand that Windows 10 has been developing the ability to use your phone through your computer. I think through "My Phone".

It has already been released, but I don't know if it is fully functional yet.

So, can you now get messages and other functions through "My Phone"?

I have an iPhone but want to switch to a Note 9, but don't want to until there is this kind of phone/computer thing.

Currently, I'm in the Apple ecosystem, but would love to go Windows/Android when it becomes nearly as functional.

OK, part of the problem is that it is called "Your Phone"....not "my phone".
The answer is "yes", it now works with android phones. Although a lot of new features are on the way, right now, it works for sending and recieving texts (great!!!!) and easily transferring photos. (don't know about videos)
