Do I need OEM Unlock enabled after flashing back to STOCK android

i recently rooted my galaxy s7 and everything was perfect. just yesterday i turned off OEM unlock thinking nothing could happen. my phone died because of the charging and upon charging the phone the message "custom binary blocked by FPR". i flashed it back to STOCK android, but should i keep the OEM unlock ticked or not,as i dont want a repeat

If your planning on staying on stock rom leave it off. No real need to have it on.
If you plan to modify your phone ( ie:root) you will need it on. ( and leave it on to avoid frp lock again.)
