Android Central Question
We just got a new phone (Moto G7 / Android 9.0) for a child in our household. I set up my account as the primary to protect the republic wireless app / manage the phone as required. The child was set up as a secondary user.
Now, when the phone is restarted the secondary user cannot be selected from the user dropdown, it requires the admin to log in first. Guest accounts and any additional user buttons are inactive. On the previous phone we had for him this used to work fine. He could select his account and log in with his pin without the admin having to first unlock the phone.
Is this the way this is intended to work? This is rather obnoxious if the phone shuts off or has to be restarted in situations where an admin is not available to log them back in....any ideas or tips?
