Android Central Question

I haven't been able to activate a full battery notification on any Android phone I've owned since my LG G3. Is there a way to do this that I am missing? If not, why would the Android team not feature this? It may be a myth that leaving a phone charging when it is full is harmful to the battery, which is up for debate, however, it's still useful information to know you don't have to tether your phone to something.

I have downloaded apps that provide notifications for a full battery but I have found them a bit bloated and unreliable.

Any recommendations are welcome. Cheers.
