Messenger will not download on my LG tablet

[Android Central Question]

I have restarted, Force Stop, clear cache but sometimes get a error code 504 or can’t download. I have only WiFi on the tablet, any help?

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet, and which Messenger app? Are you trying to install from the Play Store, or somewhere else?

Error 504 is a Gateway Timeout error. Usually because the server isn't responding quickly enough (or your path from the server is slow). Wait a while, then try again.
