    my old moto (i don't know the exact model) is stuck in bootloaders mode and even if I hit start it doesn't start. (:

    Welcome to Android Central! That probably means the firmware is corrupt (or missing).

    If it doesn't do anything, hold the power button down until you feel the phone vibrate. You'll see the bootloader flashing on and off during that time. (This is a little bug in Android, and the fix was something that even Google Tech Support wasn't aware of.)

    If it restarts, but restarts into the bootloader again, you wiped Android off the phone somehow and have to flash the ROM back. (And anything you don't have backed up to something other than the phone is gone.)
