Somehow my memo's are being shared to another phone.

My wife's phone suddenly had a lot maybe all of my memos on her phone even the catorgorized titles for my memos.
I deleted them and now they are gone from my phone as well. How is this possible.?

If your using same back up email on each phone and it sync up on both .

Welcome to Android Central! Which memo app are you using? Google Keep Notes? If you're both logged into the same Google account, then that kind of information will sync to both phones. And if you delete it on one phone, it'll disappear from the other. Don't share a Google account -- make sure each of you has your own.
