    Everytime i try to charge the phone i get an error message that there is moisture in the USB and i need to disconnect the charger. There is no moisture that has gotten to this phone. The only help i get from Verizon is to charge me to send a new one or up grade.

    There's probably something in there that's causing a bit of a short between the pins, enough to be picked up by the phone as "moisture". Cleaning inside there, though, can be tricky. A tiny wooden toothpick, some rubbing alcohol, a good magnifier and a strong light might help.

    I've seen this several times on Samsung phones, including my wife's. What works for a lot of people is to go into the app manager and find the USB app, go into it and clear the data. Then reboot the phone and all was good.

    If you have another brand of phone, something similar may work for it as well.

    If it happens on other makes, that would be an Android bug, and should be reported through feedback (in Settings).

    Maybe we should make a thread about the general problem in an "Android Bugs" forum?

    I don't know that I've seen it in non-Samsung phones, so I wouldn't vote got that just yet.
