Keyboard not launching in app

From email to maps keyboard will not appear when needed to enter data . Been working fine for over two years

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Go to Settings>Apps and look for the keyboard app -- is it Disabled? What if you install another keyboard app?

Uninstall the keyboard app. Clear the cache partition and reboot. Download the keyboard from the playstore. Good luck
