Why is there crackling noise coming from my tablet?

[Android Central Question]

I have a Acer One 7. There are crackling noise coming from the left speaker. The sound is alright with headphones. Please help.

Is it constant or only when playing media? If it's constant and goes away when plugging in headphones then there may be an open ground inside the device, or in the speaker curcuit itself.

Welcome to Android Central! It sure sounds like some kind of hardware issue with the speaker itself or one of its connections. You'd have to take it to a repair shop if you want it fixed. Otherwise, think about getting a new tablet -- that one's pretty old!
