Time changes randomly?

The time on my phone will randomly change dramatically. For example, its 4pm. I looked at the time on my phone a few minutes later, and it'll say 8pm. It corrects itself if I restart, or I'll just go to my settings and switch the auto off and back on and it's fine. Sometimes I won't catch it and I'll sent a few texts and then they'll be out of order. It's annoying. Why does it do this, though?

1st step, clear the cache partition and reboot.
If persists, boot into safe mode. If time problem is now gone, you have dld an app which is changing your clock.
If it persists in Safe mode, reset without restore.
