How do I make the 3 in 1 HDTV Cable have sound on the TV?

I purchased a 3 in 1 HDTV Cable Plug & Play for Micro USB to HDMI transfer. I wanted to watch YouTube video workouts at work with it. I have gotten it to share screens but can't seem to get the sound from my phone to play on the TV. Is there a setting I can get it to change on? I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. So no iPhone directions help! Thanks!

It probably has to do with the fact that Samsung plays games with the microUSB port (extra pins, so the audio may be on a pin your cable doesn't have), so the cable has to be specifically for a Note 2.
