No option to delete work profile

[Android Central Question]

My office IT advised me to remove the work profile, do this:
To delete your work profile go to Settings > Accounts > Remove work profile. Touch Delete to confirm the removal of all apps and data within the work profile.

I do not have this option to remove work profile on my phone. Under Settings > , there is an option Work Profile under Google. If I select it, it asks for a password to start using the app. I have no option to delete it and have lost the password.
