Updates are staged. If a manufacturer sent out 10,000 updates at once (and most of them update much more than that number), the server would melt. When your phone comes up on the list, you'll get the update - assuming there's a later update to Nougat than you're running. If there isn't (or if you've tried to update within 24 hours [again, to keep the servers running]), there won't be any update, and that's the only error message you get from the OTA (over the air) update app. (They really should have changed that years ago - added "You've already tried within the last 24 hours" and "There is no update for your device at this time".)
But I strongly suspect that you have the latest patch and those phones aren't going to get Oreo.
