Samsung A7 2018 cannot see home wifi

[Android Central Question]

My Samsung A7 (2018) doesn't show my home wifi so I cannot connect.
I can see it from other phones and devices but not from my phone.
I've turned off modem a few times and it will eventually see it so I am able to connect.
Unfortunately when I go out and try again later, it won't see it.
I've shut down phone, cleared network cache but it hasn't helped.

Forget the Wi-Fi from the phone. Clear the cache partition and reboot. Rediscover Wi-Fi. Attempt to connect.

Welcome to Android Central! Try also rebooting the router by unplugging its power for 30 seconds.
