Battery Charging but percentage is not increasing and the the phone cant be turnd on

My phone Huawei Y360,went off when the battery was low.I charged it and it did charged. An hour later I checked the battery percentage and realised that though the phone is indicating that the battery is charging, it is actually not charging.And when I turned on the phoned it turned on but went off immediately.

Usually when this happens, it's a bad connection somewhere. The connection is made, but the resistance is too high to let the current flow well. This happens most often due to the USB cable going bad. I've also had it happen a couple times when a phone's USB port went bad. It may be possible the battery itself is bad, but other symptoms would've likely appeared first (quick to discharge, abnormally slow or fast charging, shutting off well above 0%, or swelling).
