I lost my samsung s8 active. I'm considering switching to an Iphone but have insurance.

I'm with ATT. Does anyone know what Asurion, the insurance, is giving in replacement of the S8 Active right now?

There's no way of knowing honestly and it depends on what they have in stock and available. Asurion does whatever is easiest for them. If a device is outdated or out of stock I've seen them do everything from moving a person up a model year to offering another model of the same year. They want to give you the same device and may not work with you if they have a pile of S8s sitting there.
