Android Central Question

Hey guys,

I cracked my Pixel 2 (again). I need to buy a new phone. After the first break, I tried sticking a tempered glass protector to the screen, but it slid around. Probably because of the curved screen?

My previous phone was an iPhone 5S and it lived in an Otterbox Defender for years. It seemed okay (though it did get dirty). Probably it worked out okay because the screen was relatively flat.

Ideally, I'd like something that had a flat screen so that I could use a screen protector either built into the case or added on.

Unfortunately, manufacturers seem to be building more and more curved screens and doing away with those protective bezels.

Of course, I'd like a nice, large, pretty screen, good camera, finger print login, good battery life, and less bloatware as well.

I'd love to hear your recommendations for phones, cases, and screen protectors!

The most delicate of phones will be perfectly all right in a suitable armoured case, so choose whatever you like, as long as such a case is available for it.
