I had an accident with my S6 as I left it on a wall as I worked it fell down flat on its screen. Since then it wont turn on and there is a constant blue light. I have an S6 but I want to get photos and files off the phone if possible.
I know they are probably gone as my laptop wont recognise the phone connected via USB but if anyone had a solution. I'd appreciate it.

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, that constant blue light is a bad bad sign. Were you taking advantage of Google Photos backup? Or perhaps Samsung Cloud backup?

I agree with Diddy , if you sync your account like Samsung, Google should be ok to recover.
