Apps acting up out of nowhere

Today i have been using my phone as normal and nothing out of ordinary happened. 20 mins ago some apps started malfunctioning (Tumblr would freeze when i tried to check a blog. Whatsapp sent messages would give no sound and neither the notifications, the keyboard freezes) I dont know if any other app is ******* up now...
My phone is a Huawei Y6 II with android 6.0

I have contacted supported and told me to clear the cache partition. Didnt solve it. Then suggested factory reset and I draw the line there. That will be last resort.

Any help is appreciated

Try uninstalling apps one by one, starting with the apps you most recently installed (or that were most recently updated).
