Why won’t my phone go on to home page when I have put password or lock screen in

My phone only have home screen and lock screen displayed nothing else is coming up.

Is there an app drawer button? (Usually an icon with about 3 or 4 rows of 4 dots.) That would be where your apps are. You can long-press one of them then move it and you'll see your home screen. Dropping the app there will create a shortcut for it on the home screen.

Pulling the notification bar down will show you the Settings icon. (On newer versions you have to pull the pulled down bar down again.) That will get you to everything else.
