How do I remove the pop-up message “the CornerCoverMusicController is stopped”

I cannot operate my phone because of this pop-up message. I read where removing the battery would remove the message. I am concerned I would lose pictures and the phone’s memory.

Whatever the app or service is, the name would suggest that it has nothing to do with pictures.

In your Settings app, check the list of user apps and system apps. If this is there, try deleting the cache and the app data.
